2Simple Plan Meet and GreetBecause of the extremely challenging situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Simple Plan Foundation will unfortunately not be able to proceed with its annual donations this year.
The band has been forced to postpone all its 2020 shows and has been unable to organise any benefit events because of the current guidelines prohibiting social gatherings.
The Foundation's funding comes primarily from the band's activities (1$ of every ticket sold around the world is donated to the SP Foundation) and the benefit events it organizes and, therefore, the Foundation has no other choice than to make this difficult decision.
The members of the band and the volunteers at The Simple Plan Foundation are genuinely sorry about this and hope that the charitable organisations they have supported for many years will be able to continue their essential work, despite the difficult challenges our world has faced this year.
